SKU: Remote-Work Category:

Are you interested in switching careers and becoming a remote worker where you could potentially work from anywhere? The global pandemic has changed the way many people work across the country, with nearly 26% of the US workforce working remotely in some capacity throughout 2021. Some are predicting that many of these jobs will remain remote for the longterm (over 36 million jobs nationally by 2025). In this class you will hear from several remote workers in different industries, exploring the pros and cons of remote work and being a part of a distributed workforce. Participants will be exposed to current job openings regionally and nationally, and will learn some of the basic skills and technical requirements needed for many remote jobs.

Join us for this one day, 3 hour crash course. We are offering this workshop on three different dates and times to make it convenient for your schedule!

PLEASE NOTE: All classes require a basic understanding of computer usage and the internet, but we will provide a device to utilize if you do not have one. If you do have a laptop, we recommend using it to participate in any of the programs.
